DO OUR PRODUCTS GET FAT?

Many times you ask us if our products are "fattening" or not, first of all, what we have to be clear about is that the food itself is not fattening, what will really make that food fattening, will be the context in which it is consumed💡

It is true that there are macronutrients that are more caloric than others, for example, fats have 9 kcal per 100 g compared to 4 kcal per 100 g that proteins and carbohydrates have, but does this mean why we don't have to eat healthy fats? Absolutely not.

There are foods like nuts (or our 100% peanut butter or 70% hazelnut butter) that, at first glance, seem to be very high in calories, but that doesn't make them any less healthy. Nuts are a great source of healthy fat that we should not limit in our diet for the simple fact of being more caloric. What we have to do is understand how much and in what form we have to eat each and every one of the foods.

All of us have some daily requirements and it is important that they are covered to be able to carry out our vital functions, to have energy, to be healthy, to achieve our physical and mental goals, to be able to concentrate correctly, not to get sick…😷

But when it comes to covering these daily requirements, not everything goes!

We can cover our daily calories with uninteresting products and empty calories that are not nourishing us, such as other chocolate creams on the market, so it is important that we become aware of what we eat, the quality of gasoline that we give to our body.

Fried or caramelized nuts have nothing to do with raw or roasted nuts. Nor does eating an entire bag of fried nuts have anything to do with a handful a day of raw or roasted nuts.

If we extrapolate the different types of macronutrients to our products, we can talk about the following:

  • Example of healthy fat source: Peanut Butter or Protella Hazelnut Bomb. At first glance they may seem like caloric products, but they are creams where more than 70% of the product is only nuts. A very good source of vegetable fat and protein for our day to day! 🥜
  • Example of carbohydrate: Our Oatmeal with only two ingredients, oatmeal and the aroma of the flavor in question. A carbohydrate that will help us obtain the energy that carbohydrates provide us in a much more versatile way, leaving conventional carbohydrates such as rice and that will also allow us to enjoy delicious recipes such as... A cake or some oatmeal pancakes!🥞
  • Example of protein: Our Whey Proteins are protein powders based on whey, which will allow us to cover our daily protein requirements, something that is usually costly in the population in and that it is essential to be healthy, maintain and create our muscle mass.In addition, we can do it very quickly and conveniently since, as it is a powdered and flavored product, it does not mean having to eat more food, such as increasing our daily intake of eggs, fish, soybeans, legumes, meat... in the end, it could end up being heavy on us💪

Therefore, although we have some products with more calories than others, it does not mean that these products are more harmful or less interesting, in fact, we have to know that, especially in the case of women, a good daily fat intake is essential healthy for correct hormonal health Don't make the mistake of completely eliminating fat from your diet!

If you are looking for a caloric deficit, we recommend that you put yourself in the hands of a professional who advises you and guides you to achieve it through diet and physical exercise, just as if you are looking for maintenance or a caloric surplus

When we talk about healthy foods, they all have a place, what we really have to assess is the dose of each of them based on our
requirements, our physical activity, our particular case (sex, age, height... ) And our target!

Do you still have doubts about whether you can really enjoy all our products?🍫😉
